《SEA VINE》瀬戸内国際芸術祭 2010、香川

古い家屋の奥の窓から瀬戸内海が見えます。海の波が室内に押し寄せてくる波のようなイメージを、全て磁器で作られたパーツを組み上げて作っています。全体の形は波のようでありながら、一つ一つの磁器のパーツは植物の蔓や葉、花の形でできています。波の「水しぶき」が「花しぶき、葉しぶき」となって室内に広がっています。瀬戸内海の海上ではどの方角を見ても陸地が見えます。海にもし目があったら、その海が見ただろう風景をそれぞれの花や葉に描いています。海に染み込んでいる風景が「花しぶき」になって、室内に広がって、私たちの体内をすり抜けていく感覚を表現しています。

You can see the Seto Inland Sea from inside of the old house, I made the image of the wave which comes into the room. The wave is made by chinaware. If the sea have eyes, what the sea see? Leaves and flowers were drawn pictures the scenery seen from the sea. The spray has gradually changed into leaves and flowers, then appeared the scenery that the sea may see.
